For years, there has been a debate over the then-Rep. Adam Schiff’s (D-CA) role in leaking classified information to try to set up Trump for impeachment.
Schiff was also accused of blatantly lying after then-Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA) published his memo on FISA abuse, among other items.
A report just broke with a Democrat whistleblower coming forward that will have Senator Schiff (D-CA) answering some very hard questions.
When Nunes published his memo, the media and Democrats laughed it off as more conspiracy theory from right-wing nutjobs.
Schiff then published a response to the memo, which claimed, among other issues, that the FBI did not omit relevant material on its FISA warrants, that the Steele dossier was only “narrowly” used for the warrants, that Steele had been vetted rigorously, and that he was a regular source in criminal proceedings for the FBI.
All of those claims, and more, were debunked by the Inspector General’s office. For instance, in the executive summary of the report, it stated, “We found that the FBI did not have information corroborating the specific allegations against Carter Page in Steele’s reporting when it relied upon his reports in the first FISA application or subsequent renewal applications.”
Yet, when the report came out, it was more or less buried in the media, and Schiff continued to be treated like a hero, as though he had done nothing wrong (Nunes, however, was made out to be some lunatic conspiracy theorist, even after the IG report came out).
When intelligence leaks started to show up in the media, the GOP started to look at possible sources of the information, and the common denominator in most instances was Adam Schiff.
Trump even publicly accused Schiff, which the media ripped him for. Trump had stated, “Schiff leaked it, in my opinion — and he shouldn’t be leaking things like that.” Trump continued, “And if they don’t stop it, I can’t imagine that people are not going to go after them and find out what’s happening.”
Schiff responded, “Your false claims fool no one.”
The New York Times immediately hit Trump over the accusation, starting off its report by stating, “President Trump on Tuesday accused Representative Adam B. Schiff, the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, of leaking information about Russia’s efforts to interfere in the 2020 election…” What the Times should have done was start an investigation into the matter, but that is far too much to ask from today’s biased media.
A bombshell report was just published in Just the News, with documents obtained from the FBI that have a Democrat aide coming forward to expose Schiff as the leaker. Per Just the News, the documents stated, "When working in this capacity, [redacted staffer's name] was called to an all-staff meeting by SCHIFF.”
It continues, "In this meeting, SCHIFF stated the group would leak classified information which was derogatory to President of the United States DONALD J. TRUMP. SCHIFF stated the information would be used to indict President TRUMP."
It further stated, "[The whistleblower] stated this would be illegal and, upon hearing his concerns, unnamed members of the meeting reassured that they would not be caught leaking classified information.”
The staffer called Schiff’s actions "treasonous" and "illegal," and I agree, so what is going to be done about it? Schiff is already under investigation for mortgage fraud by the DOJ, but this is far more serious and something that must be investigated. I have always maintained that Schiff repeatedly broke the law in an effort to take out Trump, and now there is testimony and documentation to prove it. Mr. Patel and Ms. Bondi, do something about it!
