Today’s thought was about the journalists taking part in the lie rather than telling the American people the truth. Today’s comment is from Douglas H. from North Dakota, who responded:
“It takes a lot of effort for the media to keep pretending everything we were told over the last few years was the absolute truth. These diaries just confirm what a lot of us suspected from day one, but the big networks refuse to touch the story because it means admitting they completely failed at their jobs. They acted like PR agents for Washington instead of actual reporters asking tough questions. It is one thing to get the facts wrong in the heat of the moment, but it is entirely different to refuse to own up to it when the truth is sitting right out in the open.
