Candace Owens responded to a Daily Mail report detailing Erika Kirk's alleged private attacks against her by posting a lengthy YouTube video calling the Turning Point CEO a "psychopath", escalating a bitter feud rooted in the death of Charlie Kirk.

Owens posted the video on Tuesday after a Daily Mail reporter contacted her for comment ahead of the outlet's publication. The article, which cited unnamed family sources, claimed that Kirk privately refers to Owens as "that b****" and believes the commentator is exploiting questions about Charlie Kirk's death for personal gain. Owens did not deny the rift. She leaned into it.

The clash centers on the killing of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, whose accused shooter, 23-year-old Tyler Robinson, faces an aggravated murder charge. Robinson turned himself in the day after the shooting. He has not entered a plea, and his attorneys have not commented publicly on his guilt or innocence.

Owens says Kirk has "directed the attacks" from the start

In her video, Owens framed the Daily Mail piece not as a hit job but as a window into Kirk's character. She said she had been tipped off before publication and was not caught off guard.

As The Express reported, Owens addressed the allegation that Kirk calls her "that b****" head-on:

"Erika, according to a family friend, refers to me as 'that b----,' that B in the privacy I guess of her own comfort of her home and at the office. I actually quite appreciated the article."

Owens went further, accusing Kirk of orchestrating a broader campaign against her.

"She watches everything, she watches every moment, she watches me and has been directing the attacks against me since the beginning."

And she made clear she would not back off her questions about Charlie Kirk's death:

"They knew I was going to be a problem from the very beginning because I'm not going to get in line with a certain narrative, I need to know the truth about what happened to Charlie Kirk."

Daily Mail sources say Kirk "likes even Tyler more than Candace"

The Daily Mail article, as described in the report, carried a headline that quoted family sources saying Erika Kirk considers Owens "the ugliest person in the world" and "a souless ghoul." That headline was later softened to reference Kirk's "private tirades" and her courtroom reaction to Tyler Robinson. The report did not explain when or why the headline changed.

One unnamed source quoted in the Daily Mail article said the "bridge is burned" between Kirk and Owens, claiming Kirk believes Owens is using questions surrounding Charlie Kirk's death for "attention and money."

Another line from the unnamed source stood out. The Daily Mail piece reportedly included the claim: "I think at this point, Erika likes even Tyler more than Candace." Sources also said Kirk "almost felt compassion" when she came face-to-face with Robinson in court for the first time.

Owens seized on that detail in her video, responding with open disbelief:

"I echo that sentiment, because I feel like the entire world knows that he didn't commit this crime. So how kind of Erika to feel compassion to the person that they are considering murdering, to be clear, for something he didn't do."

That claim, that Robinson did not commit the crime, is Owens's assertion. Robinson is charged with aggravated murder and has not entered a plea. No court has adjudicated the case.

Owens accuses Kirk of profiting from her husband's death

Some of Owens's sharpest language targeted Kirk's rise to lead Turning Point, the conservative organization Charlie Kirk founded. Owens drew a contrast between her own career and Kirk's public profile, arguing that Kirk had no independent reputation before her husband's death.

"Brand being built? No Erika, I had a name and I had a brand before Charlie Kirk was assassinated. In fact, me and your husband built our names and our brands alongside each other and apart from each other. The world didn't know your name until he died, you attempted to build your brand thereafter, and you made an incalculable amount of money in the process."

Owens also dismissed Kirk's motivations as purely financial.

"All Erika cares about is money and brand and merchandise, that's what she's angry about."

She did not stop there. Owens called Kirk "some beauty pageant wife who took over the reins of Charlie's company" and said Kirk has been "on a wild pursuit of fame and fortune your entire life." She added bluntly: "There is no substance in you."

Kirk has not responded publicly

Erika Kirk has not issued a direct public response to Owens's YouTube video, nor has she confirmed or denied the statements attributed to her in the Daily Mail article. All of the claims about Kirk's private views come from unnamed sources described as family friends. Kirk's own words do not appear in the reporting.

Owens, for her part, made clear she sees the Daily Mail piece as backfiring on Kirk rather than damaging her own standing:

"That's why people think there's something wrong with you, because you meant this article to be a smackdown of me but all it did was further reveal your character."

The underlying criminal case remains unresolved. Robinson, 23, awaits trial on the aggravated murder charge. No trial date has been publicly reported in the available material, and his defense team has stayed silent.

Whatever the truth behind Charlie Kirk's death, the public feud between the two women closest to his legacy is now fully in the open, and the only people benefiting from it are the ones who never cared about the conservative movement to begin with.
