Today’s “thought” was about freedom and equity, and Gordon K. from South Carolina responded:
“The left is completely obsessed with forcing equal outcomes on everyone through endless mandates, heavy taxes, and bureaucratic red tape. But common sense tells you that the only way to make everyone perfectly equal is to drag everyone down to the lowest common denominator. When you penalize success and reward dependency, you destroy the exact incentive that built this country in the first place.
“True fairness means giving everyone the freedom to work hard and run the race, not rigging the finish line. We need to stop letting central planners micromanage our lives under the guise of ‘equity’ and start demanding our basic economic freedoms back before there is nothing left to salvage.”
