“These days, it seems like Congress is always in a mad rush to pass these massive, thousand-page spending bills before anyone even has a chance to look at them. By the time the dust settles, we find out they snuck in billions of dollars for pet projects that have absolutely nothing to do with helping regular families. It is the same story with foreign policy.

“I would much rather see us hold out for a deal with Iran that actually protects our interests, instead of rushing into a bad agreement just to get a headline. We need our politicians to start focusing on stopping these bad bills and sloppy deals from going through in the first place, rather than constantly adding to the mess.”
