This is a complete and utter joke. Yet, we are supposed to believe that Democrats hold the moral high ground?
With the gerrymandering ballot measure passing in Virginia, I wanted to find a relevant quote, and I got this little gem from Ronald Reagan:
"The fact is gerrymandering has become a national scandal. They have so rigged the electoral process that the will of the people cannot be heard... it's time to give the votes back to the people."
When Donald Trump first suggested that Texas gerrymander its maps, I said this was a battle the GOP would never win, and it has now completely backfired. Dems have picked up more seats, making the midterms an even tougher uphill climb.
So, my question to our readers is, how do we stop gerrymandering across the board? What is the solution for every state in the country to have maps that reflect its constituencies? Click here to respond.
