The man is a fraud, and I am going to keep telling everyone that until the mainstream media reports it. He invested in privately run prisons used by ICE to hold illegal immigrants, but now he is attacking ICE relentlessly because that is what the far left wants him to do. When is the mainstream media going to tell the truth about this man?

My “thought” today was about how dishonest journalism is these days and how most mainstream media outlets, in my opinion, are nothing more than a wing of the Democrat Party. Our reader comment today comes from Robert K. out of Kentucky, who responded:

“I canceled my cable news subscriptions two years ago and haven't looked back. Calling them state-run media isn't a stretch when you watch three different networks use the exact same script to protect our elected representatives from any real scrutiny. They operate as a unified PR firm for the Washington swamp. My only concern is that by tuning them out completely, some folks might accidentally isolate themselves in a different kind of bubble.

“We still need to know what the establishment is pushing so we can organize a decisive, offensive victory against their radical agenda. You have to actively hunt for independent reporting and verify the facts yourself. It takes more work than just flipping on the evening broadcast, but it is the only way to genuinely stay informed without being manipulated.”

Robert, I agree. I am not saying to tune them out completely because we need to know what they are saying to fight back. But I am saying not to trust them, and to do your own due diligence before speaking on anything political these days.
