Today’s question was about the mainstream media turning into a propaganda arm for the Democrat Party, invoking a George Orwell quote for inspiration. Today’s comment comes from Harrison X. out of Idaho, who responded:
“Orwell hit the nail on the head. We haven't had real journalism at the national level in decades. What we have now are stenographers for the Democratic National Committee. When the mainstream networks and major papers run the exact same talking points, word-for-word, on the exact same day, that isn't reporting—that is a coordinated public relations campaign.”
“They don't investigate the establishment; they run interference for it. If a story damages their preferred narrative, they bury it. If they can spin a story to hurt a conservative, they blast it on the front page. They have traded their integrity for access, and they wonder why millions of Americans have completely tuned them out. We don't have a free press; we have a propaganda arm.”
