Mamdani criticized for requiring proof of ID to shovel snow

Those of you located in the northeast are quite aware of the weather situation.

Those of you who reside in New York City are also aware of the shortcomings of Mayor Zohran Mamdani during the first storm.

Mamdani had a brainstorm for this storm, which was to recruit an army of shovelers, that is, as long as you can provide proper ID.

It’s Jim Crow 2.0

Before we get into Mamdani’s ID request, we have to go back and look at how the Democrat Party treats voter ID and the requirement to have a birth certificate, passport, and/or Social Security card.

Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY), the mouthpiece of Democrats in the Senate, has been calling it a new version of Jim Crow.

He stated, "It's an outrageous proposal, that is, that shows the sort of political bias of the MAGA right. They don't want poor people to vote. They don't want people of color to vote, because they often don't vote for them.”

Schumer has regularly called the SAVE Act “Jim Crow 2.0,” acting as though people are being oppressed for proving they are a legal citizen in this country.

Sanders is laughable

I just watched an interview with Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), who claimed he doesn’t know where his birth certificate is and he has no idea how to get one. But we do know Bernie has a passport because he flies all over via private jets, warning everyone about the oligarchy.

Watch this segment and try to keep a straight face…

Now, one would think that as an elected official, he might look to inform people of how they can get a Social Security card or birth certificate if they cannot locate it, not feed the nonsense narrative that Democrats are pushing here.

The funny thing about all this is that this is a United States senator claiming he has no idea how to get his birth certificate. Even funnier is the fact that numerous people left him directions on how to get it in the comment section.

5 forms of ID

Mamdani is asking for far more proof to sign up and shovel snow to earn a few bucks than we require to vote in most states today.

The New York Post reported that Mamdani wants “two small photos sized 1-1.5 square inches, two original forms of ID plus copies, and their social security card.”

Mind you, he is against voter ID, so you don’t need an ID to vote, but you have to provide five different options to help dig out New York City. It is laughable.

Needless to say, the internet trolls had a field day with Mamdani, but I cannot wait to hear him spin this with the national media. If you can trust someone’s word to vote, you should be able to trust them to shovel snow, right?
