I was really hoping that Democrats would back off on their rhetoric regarding ICE agents, but it just keeps getting worse.
Over the last few days, they have upped the temperature by trying to defund ICE in the spending bill.
Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-NY), however, just put a target on every agent’s head.
When in doubt, play the race card, and that is exactly what Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) just did.
While discussing ICE on CNN, the failed presidential candidate stated, “I can’t defend what the Republican National Party is doing.”
He continued, “You know, driving while Asian, driving while Latino is not unconstitutional. So the racism and the violence is extraordinary. And I think the American people are saying enough is enough.”
People may not agree with the tactics of ICE, but again, how did we get here? This is all a result of Biden allowing somewhere in the neighborhood of 10 million illegals into the country during his four years in office. To remove that many people, well, you can’t be nice about it.
One of the more reasonable members of Congress since Trump took office has been Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA). He, for the most part, has at least been willing to listen before tossing out bombs.
That is not the case now, as he suggested that ICE needs to be completely torn apart.
He stated, “We have freedoms in this country and they’re violating it. And that’s why I voted against any new funding to ICE today. That’s why most Democrats voted that way. We need to tear down this agency and have a new agency that actually adheres to constitutional law that will enforce immigration law.”
This is what makes the 2028 election so important, especially if the midterms go as I expect them to go. If Dems get back in the White House and they have the numbers in Congress, DHS, as we know, even more specifically, ICE, is done.
As bad as all that is, nothing was worse than what I just heard Nadler say, stating, “But what is really the major problem in this country today is the fascism in our streets.”
He continued, “The attacks on American citizens by masked hoodlums. If you were attacked by a masked person, you might think you were being kidnapped, you’d be justified in shooting the person to protect yourself, but we see people being shot for what? For driving a car.”
Vice President Vance immediately called him out, responding, “Jerry Nadler is one of the highest ranking Democrats in the House of Representatives and he is openly calling for people to shoot federal law enforcement. This is despicable behavior from an elected official and I’m sure the leftwing media will cover it extensively.”
Nadler just gave the lunatics on the left side of the aisle the permission they need to open fire on immigration agents carrying out operations. I can see it already… an agent gets out of the vehicle, gets gunned down, and the shooter says they thought they were being robbed by a hoodlum. Or better yet, they simply say that Nadler said they should shoot people in masks. I said just the other day the body count will grow, but now I expect it to go through the roof. This is going to get significantly worse before it gets better, in my opinion.
