During a recent CNN panel discussion, Cameron Kasky, a Parkland school shooting survivor and gun control activist, made some rather snide comments about Trump.
While the discussion was initially about immigration, Kasky went off the rails and was adamant that Trump was involved in a sex trafficking operation, repeatedly insisting that was the case, with Scott Jennings the only person on the panel pushing back.
Kasky just recanted his allegations, but this segment shows just how grossly biased our media is today.
The word “undocumented” became the politically correct phrase to use for illegal immigrants during the Jimmy Carter administration, but many conservatives have continued to use the “illegal” phrase.
When Jennings used the word illegal, Kasky demanded that he stop using that word, telling Jennings, "My point is that you're saying the word 'illegals,' but you don't even really know what's happening. Or actually, I think you do, and you're doing this on purpose."
Jennings and Kasky then had a rather tense exchange, with Jennings then doubling down on X, posting directly to Kasky, "How are you going to enforce your edict on me, just out of curiosity?”
He later added, "That's the thing about the left - deep down, they believe they should decide who gets to speak and what everyone can and cannot say. F--k. That."
Then former CNN host Chris Cuomo got involved, calling Jennings a “tough guy” over the use of the word.
Cuomo posted a video calling out Jennings for the use of the word “illegal,” stating, “What are you, a bully now? What are you, a tough guy? You’re talking to this kid, who happens to be right, calling people ‘illegal.’”
“A long time ago, Democrats and Republicans agreed to call them ‘undocumented’ instead of ‘illegal’ because it seemed inhuman. That’s why. They changed the vernacular, and you know it!”
Jennings was also upset because Kasky had levied sex trafficking allegations against Trump, with the show’s host failing to fact-check the claim, then also making a snide remark to pacify Jennings, but it did not work.
Kasky had stated, "I would love it if he was more transparent about the human sex trafficking network that he was a part of, but you can’t win them all.”
He then took the comments back, sort of, in a post that dripped of sarcasm and was only likely done to prevent legal problems for him and the network.
He posted, "I would like to retract my comments from CNN last night and truly apologize. Donald Trump was obviously not involved with a giant international child sex trafficking ring where women and children were systematically raped by elites. I said that by accident and didn’t mean it.”
Jennings was 100% right on all fronts, in my opinion, and I cannot believe CNN host John Berman, who was moderating the segment, allowed the allegation to go unchallenged. It once again proves how biased the media is, and I completely understand why Jennings lost his cool. It was a complete and utter disgrace.
