Thousands walkout during nationwide protests of Trump’s first anniversary

Liberals and conservatives celebrated the first anniversary of Trump’s second term in completely different ways.

Trump gave a long-winded speech in the White House briefing room to celebrate all his victories.

Liberals, on the other hand, held nationwide protests, with thousands walking out of their workplaces to protest Trump.

Promises made, promises kept

Donald Trump has never had a problem patting himself on the back, and on the first year of his second term, he did just that.

Trump held court in the White House briefing room just shy of two hours to go over all the campaign promises he made and kept during his first year in office.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt backed him up, telling Fox News, "President Trump accomplished more in one year than many presidents did in eight. The President delivered on every major campaign promise — securing the border, stopping Biden's inflation crisis, signing the largest middle-class tax cuts in history, ending woke DEI (diversity, equity, inclusion) nonsense, and restoring American strength on the world stage.”

All things considered, I think Trump had a relatively successful first year despite all the criticism from the media. Some “achievements” are not quite the way Trump and the administration have portrayed them, but I believe, overall, the country is in far better shape today than it was when Biden was in office.

Free American Walkout

San Francisco, not surprisingly, was a popular site for one of the protests held against Trump.

Lorrie Beeman traveled from San Jose to join the protest in San Francisco.

She stated, "I think it's really important to exercise our democratic rights for freedom of speech and let people know that we don't agree with what our government is doing. The only way to do that sometimes is to be out in the public and doing it.”

Jane Martin, with Bay Resistance, added, "Our communities here in the Bay Area have been under attack by this administration. We're seeing more and more families being detained by ICE and separated. We are also marching in solidarity on Venezuela and the horrific attacks that happened on Venezuela recently.”

Women’s March

The events that took place around the country were an offshoot of the Women’s March, which is the same group that protested against Trump during his first administration.

On its website, the group claims, “One year into Trump’s second regime, we face an escalating fascist threat: ICE raids on our communities, troops occupying our cities, families torn apart, attacks on our trans siblings, mass surveillance, and terror used to keep us silent. It is time for our communities to escalate as well.”

I honestly question if they understand the true meaning of “fascist.” This entire mess was created by the Biden administration ignoring our immigration laws and flooding the country with millions of illegals.

Dems love talking about the rule of law, but only the laws they want to follow. As I have noted before, they want to create chaos solely to take back power. They are telling moderate America that if we don’t get our way, we will riot and protest until you put us back in power, and that is the only way you will ever have peace. In less than a year, we are going to find out how much of a backbone the American people have.
