Hunter is out there doing the media circuit, looking for empathy because his family does not have “generational wealth,” and he is now $15 million in debt. Mind you, he is an attorney and generated millions of dollars in income during his career, most of it blown on women, alcohol, and drugs. Do you feel sorry for him?
I presented readers with a question today about Trump’s attitude when discussing the economy and the squeeze being put on Americans right now. During a recent interview, Trump told the reporter not to be so dramatic when she asked about current prices and the financial crunch Americans are facing right now.
Our comment comes from Floyd K. from Montana, who was very upfront in his answer, responding:
“I understand that people are hurting; my own savings account is taking a hit just like everyone else's. But we have to ask ourselves: do we want a President who acts like a therapist, or one who acts like a CEO? ‘Empathy’ doesn't lower the price of eggs or put gas in the tank."
“We had years of ‘compassionate’ rhetoric while the economy crumbled. I don't need Trump to feel my pain; I need him to stop the bleeding. If he gets angry about the state of the economy, good -- he should be. We don't need a hug; we need results.”
