Thought of the Day
Frédéric Bastiat was a French economist who, even though he lived in the early 19th century, had the same view of government that I have today. He stated:
"Government is the great fiction through which everybody endeavors to live at the expense of everybody else."
The government takes, spends, and gives us little back for our money, which is why I fully support the idea of reducing the government down to a mere shell that provides only necessary services, such as our military. Entitlement programs have become a way of life for people, which is exactly what Democrats want to see.
