Big days ahead. There is one aspect of President Donald Trump’s agenda that has been struggling from the outset, mostly due to one key adversary fighting him every step of the way. That just ended, as Trump landed a huge concession that has the White House celebrating. Read more…

  • Took long enough. Former President Barack Obama is now trying to undo the damage Democrats have done over the last decade in terms of encouraging political violence. Will he and Michelle live up to the promise he just made? I just don’t see it happening. Read more…
  • It’s misinformation. For days now, the media has been in lock-step to protect Democrats and the liberal cause. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) has heard enough, and he snapped while on live TV with CNN. Read more…

Video of the Night

Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and his fellow Democrats are doing everything they can to block the latest funding bill, but Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-SD) is ready to step up and fight fire with fire…

Reader Comment of the Day

For me, one of the most frustrating things on the planet is change just for the sake of change, as we have seen it ruin almost everything, including successful business models. A new boss comes in, tries to reinvent the wheel, and the business goes up in smoke.

Today’s comment comes from Vincent P. in Hagerstown, MD, who responded:

“The problem is arrogance. A new CEO or a new politician comes in, looks at something that has worked for decades or even centuries, and their first thought is, 'I can do better.' They mistake stability for stagnation."

“That Sowell quote is the perfect diagnosis for the disease of progressivism: a constant need to replace the proven with the theoretical. They don't call it 'destruction,' they call it 'progress,' but at the end of the day, they are tearing down a house that has sheltered generations just because they have a new blueprint that has never been tested.”

Vincent, I was in the corporate world for a long time, and my least favorite phrase from a new talking head boss was always, “Well, how about we try…” when the operation was running as smooth as silk. Thanks for the comments, and please, folks, keep them coming!

Have you seen this?

  • Too young. Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) continues his quest to take down CDC officials he believes are putting ideology over science. Once again, Paul has called them out during a hearing, but will it make a difference? Read more…
  • What’s so funny? During Trump’s inspection of the Royal Guard during his U.K. state visit, he and King Charles erupted in laughter. What was so funny? Read more…
  • Scary trend. High-profile murders are quickly becoming a thing in this country, with two recent examples coming from the death of a healthcare CEO and the assassination of Charlie Kirk. Sadly, the worst of this trend appears to be ahead of us, not behind. Read more…
  • Groveling. Earlier today, we reported on an ABC News journalist who drew nationwide outrage for his empathetic remarks about  Charlie Kirk’s alleged assassin. Seeing the swiftness with which others have been fired in recent days, Matt Gutman just groveled on social media, hoping to be forgiven. Read his full apology.
