Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) has responded to Donald Trump’s recent “low IQ” comment, but she is spinning quite the yarn. Many of the allegations she is making are blatantly false, yet the anchor to whom she spoke failed to call her out, and just allowsed her to endlessly rant, spewing more lies about the president and conservatives…
Earlier today, our “Thought of the Day” was about building stronger communities, not a stronger government, to make our republic a better place for all Americans, not just a select few. Collin R. from Enid, OK, has the response of the day:
"This is the truth we see in our churches and local charities every single week. A government check can't offer a prayer, a word of advice, or a helping hand with dignity. The welfare state replaced true community compassion with cold bureaucracy, and we've all been made poorer for it."
John S. from Winter Haven, FL, also made a great comment:
"The Left’s entire platform is to make citizens dependent on the state, because dependent people are easier to control. De Tocqueville warned us that true liberty is found in strong communities where people take care of each other. We need to actively push back against government overreach and rebuild those bonds."
I agree with both, as the left is trying to penalize success in this country, with the goal of having the government control every aspect of our lives, or at least make us dependent upon the government in critical areas. We love the comments, so please keep them coming!
