“Thank you for this. It's exactly the perspective we need right now. I'm tired of the constant narrative that America is uniquely flawed, when the reality is that our country is unique in its willingness to confront and correct its flaws.

“History is complex, and out here in New Mexico, we live with that complexity every day. No nation is born perfect. What makes America exceptional is that our founding principles gave us the tools to constantly strive for a ‘more perfect Union.’ That de Tocqueville quote says it all -- our greatness is in our ability to get better. It's a shame so many people have forgotten that.”

I agree, Joel, as I believe Democrats are putting down our country solely for the purpose of gaining power to install radicals like AOC and Zohran Mamdani into leadership roles to give this country a complete makeover that would result in more government control.
