In today’s first report, we covered Trump walking out of an interview with Kristen Welker, and here are the moments that led up to Trump storming off. And just as I had predicted, Democrats are already pouncing. Does anyone else find it intersting how quickly Democrats were able to put together their talking points and get them circulated after the interview was published?
Today’s “thought” was government power grabs, with Thomas B. from Wyoming responding:
“Washington really put it in terms everyone can understand. Fire is great when it’s keeping your house warm, but the second it gets out of the fireplace, it’ll burn the whole place down. That is exactly how the federal government operates. It’s supposed to be a tool that serves the people, but over the years, it has grown so big and passed so many rules that it feels more like a master we are all answering to.
“They love to dress up every new regulation in fancy talk about safety or progress, but at the end of the day, it's just more control. We really need to get back to keeping that fire contained before it gets completely out of hand.”
