These kids are having a day they will never forget. Hanging out with the president and Bryson DeChembeau, but sick Democrats are trying to turn it into something vile. It truly is a sickness that has permeated members of Congress on the left. Sadly, I don’t see that changing anytime soon…

Today’s “thought” was based on a quote from George Washington, outlining how a big government is nothing more than a man-eating monster. Our comment today is from Edward C. out of Wyoming, who responded:

“The Left constantly hides behind the word ‘democracy’ because they actually want mob rule, plain and simple. When they talk about saving our institutions, what they really mean is expanding federal power to force their radical agenda down the throats of everyday Americans. Washington understood that a bloated government becomes a weapon, which is exactly what we are dealing with today in the administrative state.

“But honestly, I get frustrated when our side gets bogged down in constitutional semantics. Correcting a liberal on social media about whether we are a republic or a democracy doesn't change the reality on the ground. We need our elected representation to stop giving history lectures and actually deliver a decisive, offensive victory by aggressively cutting off the funding to these bloated agencies. We cannot just point out the Left's ignorance; we have to actively strip the power away from the bureaucratic masters Washington warned us about.”

I agree and disagree with you, Edward. Being a constitutional republic is the core of this nation, so confusing it with a democracy, in my opinion, is about far more than semantics. If you don’t understand the foundation of this nation, in my opinion, you have no right to serve in Congress or the White House.
