“Coolidge called it exactly what it is. Every time politicians in D.C. pitch a new tax, they swear it's only going to hit the big guys. But anyone who buys groceries or gas knows that is a lie—those costs always trickle down to us.

“It feels like they just view the American taxpayer as a bottomless ATM for their pet projects. We don't need them finding clever new ways to take our money. We just need them to balance a budget and live within their means, exactly like working families have to do every single month.”
