I was browsing through my quotes today when I found this one from Milton Friedman:

"Nothing is so permanent as a temporary government program."

This really hit home for me in regard to government spending. All these “temporary” programs that we have that just gobble up American taxpayer dollars, then somehow become permanent fixtures in the budget. Click here to respond.
