Today’s thought was about Democrats wanting to expand the Supreme Court and shred our Constitution, all in the name of doing what is right for this country. Our reader response today comes from Lawrence H. out of Florida, who responded:
“The Democrat obsession with packing the Supreme Court is the ultimate power grab. Jefferson knew that government naturally tries to swallow liberty, and we are seeing that appetite on full display today. They don’t just want to win an election; they want to rewrite the rules of the game so they can never lose again. Expanding the bench isn’t about ‘fairness.’ It’s about establishing a permanent judicial rubber stamp for a radical socialist agenda that would never survive a fair vote.
“Our elected representation cannot keep playing nice or looking for a compromise that doesn’t exist. We need to stop acting like these are just minor ‘policy differences’ and treat this like the existential threat to the Republic that it is. Instead of just talking about the Constitution in campaign ads, we need our representatives to go on the attack, defund the initiatives that feed this government bloat, and deliver a decisive, offensive victory for the separation of powers. If we don’t stop the swamp from gaining more ground now, there won’t be any liberty left to defend.”
