Is anyone else infuriated by how so many liberals, Democrats, and media members appear to be rooting for America to fail against Iran, or pitching some nefarious narrative other than what was actually taking place? The worst part of it is that these people who are screaming the loudest have no clue about these types of operations…
Today’s “thought” was inspired by a quote from Ayn Rand, who wrote her words about six decades ago. However, they ring true of today’s Democrat Party and the desire to make us all completely dependent on the government.
Today’s comment comes from Bill S. out of Alaska (how about that… we have readers in Alaska), who responded:
“Rand saw the exact tyrannical blueprint the Democrat establishment is using right now. They want to completely invert the Constitution. The Left demands that everyday Americans beg for permission to speak, to run a business, or even to drive a reliable vehicle, all while the federal government aggressively bypasses the law to force their radical agenda down our throats. It is the absolute definition of rule by brute force, carried out by unelected bureaucrats who despise our freedoms.
“We cannot simply complain about this gross overreach. We have to completely dismantle their administrative state and deliver a decisive, offensive victory for individual liberty at every level of government. We are free citizens, not subjects, and we will never surrender our constitutional rights to their permission-slip society.”
Something tells me Bill had the uniform on at some point in his life. I can hear the disgust in his tone over what has become of the nation he likely once defended. Thanks for the words, Bill.
