Post of the Evening

I would love to debate this topic right now...

Notice the word “political” is inserted in there, but I don’t even think that is true any longer. I have never tried to defend what took place on January 6 at the Capitol, but let’s look at the rest of the violence over the last decade.

ANTIFA riots. BLM riots. At least three presidential assassination attempts. Multiple mass shootings by leftists, including an absurd uptick in biological males who identify as women (or something else), and the assassination of Charlie Kirk, and there are plenty more examples. And I have not even started to discuss the “regular” violence that takes place in Democrat cities on an everyday basis. Oh, and how about the SPLC scandal, a leftist organization allegedly paying to create perceived violence from the right?

One could make the argument that it appears the violence on the right is worse simply because it is more publicized.

Today’s thought was about one man being brave enough to stand up for the people rather than follow the will of the uniparty we are seeing develop in Congress. Today’s comment comes from Thomas B. out of Nevada, who responded:

“The idea that one courageous representative can break the establishment is exactly why President Trump resonates so deeply with the working class. He stepped up and took the arrows that the rest of the GOP was terrified of. However, my concern is that relying on just one person to shoulder the entire burden gives the rest of our elected representation a free pass.

“We have too many politicians hiding in the shadows, perfectly content to be part of the uniparty while someone else does all the heavy lifting. If we actually want to deliver a decisive, offensive victory against the bureaucratic swamp, we cannot just cheer for the one guy taking the heat. We have to completely clean house in the primaries and send an entire wave of representatives who refuse to compromise.”
