Many conservative writers have been trying to expose these NGOs for the scams they are for years, so this did not surprise me one bit. It is also why I believe Democrats were so upset over the dismantling of USAID, which was a major player in these schemes…
Today’s “thought” was inspired by a Samuel Adams quote about politicians starting brushfires to create a narrative and push voters in a certain direction out of fear. Today’s comment comes from James T. out of Missouri, who responded:
“The doomsday narratives are already ramping up for the midterms, but honestly, I think a lot of conservatives are getting distracted by every little spark the Democrats throw out there. We spend way too much time playing whack-a-mole with whatever manufactured outrage the legacy media decides to push on any given day. They want us exhausted, running around trying to put out these brushfires instead of advancing our own agenda.
“Playing defense against fake panic does not win elections. Instead of just reacting to their hysteria, our elected representatives need to completely ignore the noise and focus on delivering a decisive, offensive victory on the issues that actually matter to working Americans. If we stop taking the bait and force the Left to defend their disastrous track record, their carefully plotted narratives will burn out on their own.”
James, I have said nearly the same thing regarding liberals and Democrats wanting to “exhaust” us to the point we agree to change solely to shut them up. That is what happened in 2020, and we all saw how that worked out for the country.
