This is a headline grab, nothing more, but Democrats are making themselves out to be some type of heroes over this.
If they somehow manage to get this passed in the House, which it won’t, it would still have to pass the Senate, which it won’t, and then Trump would have to sign it, which he will never do. If Trump vetoed it, they would need a two-thirds majority to override his veto, which they don’t have.
They literally have no power to invoke the 25th Amendment, as that power resides with the vice president and a majority of the presidential cabinet, but Dems think we are stupid. So they make these videos to promote their campaigns as the resistance to the bad orange man…
To my point about that video above, I want to use a quote from Niccolò Machiavelli:
"The great majority of mankind are satisfied with appearances, as though they were realities, and are often more influenced by the things that seem than by those that are."
This is the Democrat game plan. Most liberals will think Democrats actually can remove Trump from office even though they have zero authority to invoke the 25th Amendment. Dems want them to think they have this power, but they don’t. It’s all a shell game. Click here to respond.
