Post of the Afternoon

Bruce Springsteen has been talking trash about Trump and America, as well as writing anti-Trump songs, so it is no surprise Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) is gushing over him. I had a LOT of conservative friends who used to love Bruce, but his antics have turned them all off.

Thought of the Day

Frédéric Bastiat once stated:

“When plunder becomes a way of life for a group of men in a society, over the course of time they create for themselves a legal system that authorizes it and a moral code that glorifies it."

This, to me, defines the manipulation of the political system by our elected officials. Nothing is abused more than campaign finances. Technically, however, they are doing nothing wrong because they wrote the rules that allow them all to live a luxurious lifestyle while writing it all off to campaign expenses.
