Democrats are playing games again. There is a bipartisan bill working its way through Congress to ban congressional stock trading. However, Democrats are suddenly presenting a new bill to extend to the president and vice president, specifically because of Donald Trump.
Now, I am all for banning members of Congress as well as the president and vice president from being able to trade stocks while in office, but I have to ask why Democrats did not make this stipulation when Joe Biden was at the helm?
My “thought” today was about government spending, using a quote from Margaret Thatcher to back it up. Our reader comment today comes from Edward C. out of Maine, who responded:
