He has no clue. Zohran Mamdani has not yet taken office in New York City, but he is already proving that he is absolutely clueless when it comes to implementing his agenda. He was like a deer in the headlights this week when a reporter confronted him about a key aspect of putting his plan in place. He is going to crash and burn. Read more…

  • Kristi Noem dismissal. Rumors are flying in D.C. this week that Trump is about to drop the hammer on several key officials, and Kristi Noem’s name keeps popping up. Well, the president just announced what he will be doing. Read more…
  • JD Vance deployed. Trump is calling on his big dogs to get things tightened up, and he just gave JD Vance a key assignment to carry out ASAP. Something tells me he will be far better at this than Kamala Harris was. Read more…

Post of the Night

This is a great post by Jonathan Turley, noting how outraged members of the media are over the notion of “neutral” standards being put in place. They are literally willing to lose their jobs rather than be forced to report the news fairly. It shows everything that is wrong with today’s mainstream media…

Reader Comment of the Day

Today’s “thought” was about how people view success, and how obstacles overcome can lead to an individual believing his or her life is a success, even if those on the outside just don’t see it that way, as far too many people simply associate wealth as the only measure of success.

Our reader comment today is from Raymond F. from Illinois, who responded:

“You hit the nail on the head. We live in a culture that confuses ‘net worth’ with ‘self-worth.’ Booker T. Washington understood that character is forged in the fire of adversity, not in the comfort of privilege. If you measure success by what you have, you will never be happy because someone else will always have more."

“But if you measure it by what you've overcome, no one can take that away from you. Being content with what you have, raising a good family, and sleeping soundly at night because you did honest work -- that is the only definition of success that matters.”

Raymond, I agree. For me, it is about the people around me and having the things that make me happy, versus needing what others have. Once you realize it is not a competition and cut out the toxicity, it is amazing how much more you can enjoy life, even during the difficult times.

Have you seen this?

  • It’s murder. I have been waiting for a case like this to come up after seeing numerous reports about chatbots encouraging people to kill themselves or creating paranoid delusions among users. Well, it just happened. Read more…
  • Just leave her alone. Since Charlie Kirk died, his widow, Erika, has been pummeled by conspiracy theories, and she is finally speaking out about it. Read more…
  • Another DoorDash scandal. DoorDash has been in the headlines for all the wrong reasons as of late, and this story is surely not going to help. A driver was caught taking and sharing some rather compromising pictures of someone to whom she was delivering an order. Who was in the wrong here? Read more…
  • Get rich quick. No, I am not pushing a scam, but just reminding everyone that the Powerball is back up over $1 billion. So, if you are feeling lucky, you might want to snag a ticket before the next drawing. Read more…
