Rather than ask for a comment on our “thought” today, we asked for feedback on your opinion of how the RNC handled the NYC mayoral election, as well as the Virginia and New Jersey gubernatorial contests. I asked readers if they thought the RNC could have and should have done more in these races. Today’s response came from Thomas R. from Michigan, who stated:

“'Done a better job’ is the understatement of the year. It's complete malpractice. The Democrats are fighting tooth and nail for every single seat, from dogcatcher on up, while the RNC acts like these 'blue' states don't even exist. You can't win if you don't show up."

“Letting a socialist walk into the mayor's office in New York City without a massive, funded, national fight is a disgrace. We need a party that fights for every inch of this country, not one that just protects its own turf.”

I agree completely, Thomas, and I am firmly convinced that had the GOP run someone like Lee Zeldin in New York City, the Big Apple would soon be preparing for a GOP mayor to take over instead of a socialist, someone Donald Trump believes is an outright communist.
