My “thought” today was about identity politics creating a divide in this country, and quite frankly, I expected some pushback after saying both sides were involved in it. However, feedback was fairly positive on my take, as most of our readers realize that this is not completely a one-way street. “You're right, it's a rabbit hole, and it was a trap set by the Left. For decades, their strategy has been to slice the American electorate into a hundred different grievance groups, all competing for government favor. They've replaced the motto of ‘E Pluribus Unum’ with ‘Divide and Conquer.’"
“The problem is, as you said, some on our side have started to play their game. The party that remembers how to speak to Americans as individuals -- united by a love for this country and its Constitution, rather than by what box they check -- is the one that will win a lasting majority.”
Great comment, Wallace, and I appreciate your feedback. Keep the comments coming to our early newsletter, and you never know, you just might see your comment featured in our evening publication!
