  • Johnson holds the line. As the temperature in D.C. rose, House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) managed to hold the line. He has a message for Democrats, and they are not going to like it. Read more…

Post of the Day

This post from California Gov. Gavin Newsom is just packed with lies, and if you read the community notes, you will see just how bad it is. Most notably, he called out Republicans for gerrymandering when California maps were already twisted to suit partisan aims, and that was before Newsom tried to put a new law on the books to manipulate them further!

Thought of the Day

Watching the New York City mayoral debate last night, I thought of a quote by Thomas Sowell:

"Reality is not optional."

Listening to NYC mayoral hopeful Zohran Mamdani talk about all his planned freebies, and seeing the media fail to hold him accountable for explaining how he will fund them, I cannot help but think that Democrats live in a fantasy world. Rep. Jim Clyburn (D-SC) said something along the same lines, claiming that the Affordable Care Act, a.k.a. Obamacare, is not affordable without tax subsidies, yet he still called it a success.

It just seems to me that most things Democrat these days are based on fantasy, while conservatives live in a more realistic world. We are trying to deal with excessive government spending, waste, and fraud, while Democrats only want to keep writing checks, as though there are no repercussions for digging a bigger debt hole for this country.

I look forward to hearing your responses to my “thought.” So check back in our evening newsletter to see if your comment was chosen.

Have you seen this?

  • He just admitted he’s guilty. One of the most disturbing murder cases I have ever seen was just resolved with a confession. This man is heartless, and he should never see the light of day again. Read more…
  • Sick gift. A mother in Wisconsin is absolutely livid over a present that was given to her son by a bleeding-heart liberal. This is beyond disturbing, not to mention outright sick. Read more…
  • Trump gives them power. Democrats are going to freak out when they see an order that was just given by Donald Trump to the IRS. I guess turnabout is fair play, since Dems did the same thing to conservatives when they were in the White House. Read more…
  • He’s a hero. A police officer’s video just showed why Democrats are so far out of line for constantly attacking our police. What this officer did was absolutely amazing. Read more…
