That did not work out well. New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani's cheap political stunt just massively backfired on him. Much to the pleasure of Donald Trump, who is all smiles right now. Read more…

  • Powerful Democrat flips. The knee-jerk reaction to the arrest of Maduro has been to push back against Trump, yet one of the most powerful Democrats in the party has just announced that she fully supports the arrest, delivering a crushing blow to the narrative the party is trying to push. Post of the Night

Kamala Harris has chimed in on the arrest of Maduro, clearly going for political points because her narrative is just flat out wrong. There is plenty of legal precedent to support what Trump did. The only part of her post that is right is that, yes, oil definitely had something to do with this, but the root of the arrest is that Maduro was a wanted fugitive. Oil is just an added benefit.

However, how many wars has this country been in over oil already? Let’s not pretend decisions like this are not energy-based because many of these decisions are. Harris just proves how clueless she truly is in foreign affairs with this word salad of hers…

Reader Comment of the Day

My “thought” today centered around a quote from NFL legendary coach Tom Landry. It was about not only promising to make a change but also figuring out a plan to ensure its success. This being a Tom Landry quote, I had to choose a comment from a fellow Texan, so today’s response comes from Garrett L, who responded:

“Coach Landry was the definition of stoic discipline, and he was right. Everyone says they want to ‘get out of debt’ or ‘get healthy’ in January, but by February, they quit because they relied on motivation instead of a method. My goal this year is to pay off the house.

“The plan isn't just ‘save money’—it is specific. We switched to a cash-only budget, cut the cable, and I’m taking every overtime shift available at the plant. It’s a grind, but like Landry taught his teams, you don't win on Sunday by hoping for a victory; you win by executing the game plan on Monday through Saturday.”

I love it, Garrett. Trim a few non-necessities to make your overall and long-term life much better. Good luck!
